This web site is for English speaking subscribers to the French digital television provider CineCinema. The seven CineCinema channels are available from various French satellite and cable television networks.
Many films presented by CineCinema are made in English
speaking countries and the subscriber can choose to listen to
the English soundtrack instead of the dubbed French soundtrack. However,
CineCinema's own programme guides are not easy to use for English speakers
because the film titles and descriptions are translated into French.
Unlike CineCinema's own programme guides, this web site lists films with the original title and a description in English. Some films have been reviewed by the BBC owned magazine Radio Times and their rating is given in the listing with a link to the text of the review - in English of course.
Please note that the
progammes listed here are shown on encrypted satellite and cable
broadcasts and you need to subscribe to a French TV network
service to watch them.
